Sri Krishna Janmastami was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at Poornaprajna PU College, Sangameshwarapete. The celebration was organised to commemorate the birth of Lord Sri Krishna and to remind the students of his timeless teachings and values.

The college premises were beautifully decorated with colourful flowers, garlands, banana leaves and traditional ornaments. A special shrine was arranged with an idol of Lord Krishna, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere.

The celebration included traditional पूजा and special rituals performed with devotion. Faculty members, students and other members of the college community participated in the proceedings. The ceremonial aarti was performed, followed by offerings of fruits and other prasada to the deity.

Students and staff participated enthusiastically in the celebration. The presence of students in traditional attire added to the festive spirit. The occasion also provided an opportunity for the college community to come together and celebrate India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

The beautifully decorated shrine and the collective participation of teachers and students made the celebration a memorable one. The programme concluded with prayers and the distribution of prasada.
