Poornaprajna PU College, Sangameshwarpete, participated enthusiastically in the Taluk-Level Sports Competitions held during August 2026. The students demonstrated excellent sporting ability, discipline, teamwork, and determination, bringing several notable achievements to the institution.

Students secured impressive results in several disciplines:

  • Shuttle Badminton: Winners
  • Boxing (-65 kg): Winner
  • Football: Runners-up
  • Weightlifting (-77 kg): Winner
  • Weightlifting (-86 kg): Winner
  • Skating: First and Second places
  • Judo (-77 kg): Winner
  • Swimming: 27 Gold and 13 Silver medals
