The Independence Day celebration was held with great patriotic spirit at Poornaprajna PU College, Sangameshwarapete, on 15 August 2026. Students, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and guests participated enthusiastically in the programme.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The gathering was then addressed by the chief guest and the college authorities, who highlighted the importance of India’s freedom and reminded students of their responsibilities as citizens of the country.

Students presented patriotic songs, speeches and cultural programmes that reflected the spirit of nationalism and unity. The programme also included messages about the sacrifices made by freedom fighters and the values of discipline, equality and service to the nation.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks. The programme was conducted in a dignified and enthusiastic manner and left the students with a renewed sense of patriotism and responsibility towards the nation.
