We visited several places near our college to gain knowledge about industry and literature. The places we explored are:

1. Balanoor Tea Factory (BTF)
Established in 1937, this plantation has a rich history of tea and coffee cultivation.

2. Shree Lakshmi Narasimha Swami Matha, Hariharapura
An ancient Dharmapeetam founded by Sri Adi Shankaracharya, situated on the banks of the River Thunga.

3. Rashtra Kavi Kuvempu’s Home, Kuppalli
The childhood home of the renowned Kannada poet Kuvempu.

4. Kamandala Ganapati Temple
A temple linked to Goddess Parvati’s penance and Lord Brahma’s blessings, featuring the sacred Brahmi River.
